The Escape Hybrid comes either in base or limited trim levels. The base model will give you 16-inch alloy wheels, power controlled driver seat, dual zone climate control, Sync, ABS, full power controls, stability control, and front and side curtain airbags. The Limited Escape Hybrid will upgrade you to leather seats, heater front seats, interior multicolor lighting, sunroof, and back up parking assistance. There are many optional features you can with on the limited; parallel parking system that is fully automated, Sirius Travel Link, digital music storage capabilities, and touchscreen in-dash navigation.
U.S. News ranks it #7 in the large category of Affordable Compact SUVs. It earned that ranking with a base MSRP of $29,860 only going as high as $34,120 for the Limited with all wheel drive. Drivers are expected to get about 34 mpg around town and 31 mpg on the highway. Plus, for the 2010 model, it comes equipped with MyKey, which is technology that allows you to program the top speed the vehicle can travel as well as the top volume level for the stereo. Parents will love that if they have teenage drivers!
